Begonia

On my way to office, my colleague told me about her green fingers. She planted many flowers. Interestingly she shared this particular flower called begonia (chinese flower crab apple). “You know, the plant was dying, so I cut the branch that did not grow flowers. Surprisingly after a few days, the branch started growing buds and many more flowers.”

Then I shared with her, “Yes, it is very interesting about the flower, I read something like this in bible John15:1-4 (Jesus said) "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”

That’s the way God disciplines and molds us. Sometimes it hurts but remember that God loves us.
